Sarah was born in Washington, DC. She received her BA in Environmental Studies from Ithaca College in 2015 and recently graduated with her MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

Sarah’s work reflects on specific human-environment interactions, sensations of light and movement, interactions between natural and built environments, and the ways in which people have curated nature to suit the current anthropogenic state of the world. Her work is not limited to any specific medium. She prefers to mix media, finding ways to create movement, color, and texture through combining collage, painting, photography, and hand cut paper.

Sarah has participated in group shows in Washington, DC; Ithaca, NY; Philadelphia, PA; and Amsterdam, Netherlands, as well as solo exhibitions in Ithaca, NY. She currently lives and works in Philadelphia, PA.
